Process

56 contributors from the web, YouTube, social channels, retail, podcasting, licenced trade, writers, and reviewers collaborated to define the list of nominees for each of the nine categories between August and September 2022.

From September 23rd to October 16th, the nominee list was put up for public voting.

The category winners were announced live on the Aqvavitae YouTube channel by Ralfy and Roy during the ceremony, with stats and People’s Choice tTop 10 lists also being shared to celebrate the best in whisky.
